As a Guangdong CPPCC member, Wilson Pang, Head of KPMG GBA Strategy & Development Office attended the 13th Guangdong Provincial Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) on January 22, 2024. During the session, he shared two main topics in his proposals with SFC reporters.

“This year, there are two topics that I am most concerned about. One is the overall development of the GBA, and the second is the development of the Green and Beautiful Guangdong Campaign”, Pang said. For the economic development of the GBA, he suggests to leverage financial and technological means in Hong Kong to empower the transformation and value enhancement of small and medium-sized enterprises in the GBA. While he considers the GBA would also provide more opportunities for talents from Hongkong.
